Runner’s Edge is extremely professional and courteous. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. We were helped right away and they took the time to make sure we were completely satisfied with the new sneakers we picked out. They took care of the sizing and fitting, everything! I highly recommend this store if you want new sneakers that fit properly and suit your needs!

This will be the last time I shop here. After two years of enjoying coming to a local spot and being able to directly discuss the type of sneakers that would be best for Running, I am disappointed in the staff and lack of interest in assisting as well as a very limited inventory. The staff was more interested in talking about their upcoming runs between the two of them and had a genuine disinterest in the customer. Not worth it to come back. Finding out the sneakers were cheaper if ordered right from Brooks, sealed it. Never again.

Excellent store for athletic footwear. All of the sales staff are very experienced athletes and know the brands and shoes very well. They will measure you and ask all about your footwear needs. From walking to running and professional track shoes, they carry it all. All the name brands. Very friendly staff. Our salesman is a marathoner as are many of the staff. Highly recommended.

Best place to find new sneakers!! I’ve been looking for a comfortable running sneaker but didn’t know what to get. A friend suggested I tried runners edge and it was amazing!! It was such a personalized experience. They’ll ask a bunch of questions of what your looking to do with your shoes…(are you a runner/walker/for work etc) They had me walk to see the way my feet and ankles look when I walk and we went from there. He brought out 4 shoes to start and had no problem getting me a different size! Much better than going to a regular department store if you don’t know what you need!

I came in during the week and Vincent helped me out tremendously with picking out running sneakers for my flat feet. A huge selection to choose from and was so patient. I got a pair and brought my girlfriend back a few days later and we had james help her and it was the exact same experience! Both of us are very happy with the service they provided!

Went here the other day to get my family member a pair of running sneakers for their first half marathon coming up. Had an excellent experience working with Gerard and Vincent. They were very knowledgeable, energetic, and had a good sense of humor. We tried multiple pairs without any complaint and then went home with a beautiful set of Hokas. Thanks!

All the workers there have experience with running in general or run/ran in sports. They clearly have experience with many of their own products, and now how to fit a shoe that will cater to your exact needs. Have gone multiple times and will definitely come back again!

I just wanted to say that the Runner's Edge as a company has greatly supported the Long Island Running Community through it's ups and downs over the years with hosting events, providing helpful information in store, providing free shoes as prizes at races, and even connecting me with my coach. I'm proud to say I've been a loyal customer for the past 15 years or so and plan on continuing. This is long overdue, but I'd like to say thank you to the company as whole and Bob Cook whom I cannot say enough good things about with his kind words, dedication, never fading support.
