So good service that i took my review from yelp as well--- As a new transplant to Redding, I wanted to get into biking and was recommended to come to this shop for my biking needs. I have been blown away by the friendly and welcoming bike mechanics at this shop. Joe and Andy are super knowledgeable and very patient with teaching me the basics of the sports. They have my best interest in mind, budget in mind, and never upsale. They take the time to identify what i want out of the sport, my fitness level, my sizing- which big box stores have failed to do for me in the past. I did however have one specific issue with my bike, Joe called specialized on my behalf and figured it out in half a day! They stand by their products and provide great personalized support. If you're looking for a local shop with great vibes, knowledgeable staff, and good deals on high quality gear- look no further.

Been a customer of theirs for 3 years - if you need your bike fixed, they can get it done. They are extremely knowledgeable about what can be done. Rates are very reasonable for replacing a spoke, sizing a stem, etc.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced while purchasing a quality pair of shoes. Sandy went above and beyond to help me with a Birkenstock warranty issue, she was very helpful and informative. I will definitely be returning to Sports LTD!!!

These guys are jokers.

I called them on the phone, and was extremely explicit that I was passing through Redding and needed a quick turn around flat fix, within an hour at most. I was explicit about the time constraint and the person who answered the phone was like. OH YEAH we can do that NO PROBLEM.

So I went over there, exhausted, to drag my busted simple bicyce (not electric, this would have been a 25 minute job tops to fix flat), and have the shop clerk laugh in my face when I asked if I could drop it off to get fixed right away. He began mansplained about how it's "the busy season" and thats not something I should expect to be able to just do, to drop into a bike store and get repairs the same day. (This is despite one of their reps on the phone saying I should come in)

I asked if he knew of any shop in the area that are maybe known to have availability to do a drop in fix, since he just told he his shop was at capacity, and you'll never believe how he responded.

The middle aged clerk became extremely evasive and acted like he had no clue of a single shop in the area. Couldn't name a single one. I pretty much begged him, and said surely you must have one suggestion? Nope. So I immediately asked this younger, more approachable repair clerk who was closer to my age and was walking right in front, "hey dude do you know of any shops in the area that can do a drop in fix?" I asked the young attendant, and he immediately responded with a real suggestion of a place to go, zero hesitation. The older clerk heard this as we were literally all face to face in this moment, and in that awkward moment reiterated the same shop as if all of a sudden his memory returned.

2 stars for the nice younger clerk who gave me real advice when his shop was full and couldn't help a drop in. Walking away from the interaction with the older clerk felt slimy, it could have been an easy assist but instead apparently was too greedy to name another shop when his was at capacity? Shame, either way here I am writing this review because I'm stuck passing through Redding trying to fix a flat on a simple back bicycle tire.

Don't call these guys if you are in a hurry and I wouldn't rely on what timeline they claim on the phone. After mulling it over, they must have just said whatever to get another customer in the store, not caring they wouldn't be able to help me with my actual problem.

Rented a bike here in June 2024 ...
Was in town from the Ozarks.
Great staff ...
They had young kid,a California cowboy working in there that really was friendly.
But so was the other guys.
The bike shop is top notch .

Travis really helped me out today with a replacement buckle for my backpack. Service was great and the store is HUGE. Highly recommend this place and will be back next time I’m in the area. Thanks again!

I get my Keens from Sports Ltd, I got a different pair then I usually do and am very happy. The staff was super helpful and pleasant!
